PEUGEOT has set the tone for 2025 with a bold roadmap unveiled by its new CEO, Alain Favey, at the third edition of E-LION DAY. With a customer-centric approach and strengthened partnerships, Favey declared, “In addition to the beautiful products already present in our markets, it’s by focusing on our customers and strengthening our partnerships that we will build a bright, successful and sustainable future for PEUGEOT. In 2025, we are definitely in performance mode!”
Leading the Charge in Electric Mobility
PEUGEOT continues to spearhead the mainstream European EV market, boasting the most comprehensive electric vehicle lineup. The brand’s multi-energy platforms cater to all customer needs, from hybrids to fully electric models and from compact cars to SUVs and light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
In 2025, PEUGEOT strengthens its electric portfolio with the launch of the E-3008 and E-5008 Dual Motor 325 hp and the E-5008 5-seater, expanding its already diverse range. Complementing these new models is the PEUGEOT ELECTRIC PROMISE, an initiative ensuring a seamless electric ownership experience. Customers benefit from an eight-year battery and vehicle warranty, a Wall Box for home charging, and an on-the-go charge pass for effortless access to charging stations across Europe.
Performance-Driven Innovation
With nearly 1.1 million vehicles sold globally in 2024 and electric vehicle orders doubling, PEUGEOT continues to dominate the European market. The B-segment and light commercial vehicle markets saw PEUGEOT retain its leadership position in electric mobility. The E-3008 alone has amassed over 120,000 orders, with 22% of buyers opting for the fully electric variant, exceeding segment averages.
The introduction of the high-performance Dual Motor E-3008 and E-5008 with 325 hp and all-wheel drive underscores PEUGEOT’s commitment to performance. These models integrate a 213 hp front-wheel-drive electric motor with an additional 112 hp rear motor, ensuring superior motricity and driving dynamics.
The expansion of the SUV range continues into early 2025 with the arrival of the E-5008 5-seater. Designed for customers prioritizing cargo space without compromising on driving pleasure, it offers an industry-leading 994L boot capacity, expanding to 2310L with the second row folded—perfect for long journeys and active lifestyles.

Efficiency at the Core of Electrification
PEUGEOT electric vehicles have set new benchmarks for efficiency, as confirmed by the ADAC Ecotest 2024, which named the E-208 and E-308 as the most efficient cars on the market. Long-range models like the E-3008 and E-5008 offer segment-leading ranges of 700 km and 668 km, respectively—ideal for extended road trips with minimal charging stops.
To enhance long-distance travel, PEUGEOT introduces a battery preheating system that optimizes charge time in cold weather. Integrated into the Trip Planner, the system ensures the battery is at peak charging efficiency upon arrival at a charging station.
PEUGEOT’s Hybrid e-DCS6 powertrain allows customers to transition smoothly into electrification. Available across models from the 208 to the 5008, this 48V hybrid system enhances fuel efficiency, offers up to 15% lower consumption, and enables up to 50% electric-only driving in urban environments.
For those seeking a deeper electrification experience, PEUGEOT’s plug-in hybrid models—available on the 308, 408, 508, 3008, and 5008—offer extended electric driving ranges, such as 87 km on the 3008 with a fuel consumption of just 0.9 L/100 km.
Redefining the Electric Ownership Experience
PEUGEOT prioritizes not only performance but also an unparalleled customer experience. The PEUGEOT ELECTRIC PROMISE addresses the primary concerns of EV buyers: range, charging accessibility, and reliability. The initiative offers:
- 8-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty (Allure Care programme)—the most comprehensive in Europe.
- 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty for peace of mind.
- A home Wall Box charger included, making at-home charging effortless.
- A Free2Move Charge pass, granting access to nearly one million charging stations across Europe.
- Flexible financing solutions, making EV adoption more accessible.
Commitment to Sustainability and Education
Beyond vehicles, PEUGEOT strengthens its commitment to sustainability through educational initiatives in collaboration with Born Free and Under The Pole.
As the official Education Partner for Born Free, PEUGEOT supports wildlife conservation through funding, vehicle donations, and awareness campaigns. The “Powered by Lions” campaign, showcased at the 2024 Paris Motor Show, transformed EV charging stations into lion sculptures, reinforcing wildlife protection messages.
In 2025, PEUGEOT deepens its support by providing Landtrek pickups to assist Born Free’s conservation efforts in Kenya.
Similarly, PEUGEOT partners with Under The Pole, an initiative dedicated to ocean preservation. The brand contributes by co-developing educational content, participating in global research events, and providing vehicles for logistical support.
Driving Towards a Carbon-Neutral Future
PEUGEOT remains at the forefront of Stellantis’ Carbon Net Zero strategy, embracing sustainability across all facets of production. With 60% of factory energy sourced from decarbonized electricity, the brand actively reduces its environmental footprint.
At E-LION DAY, climate researcher François Gemenne highlighted the importance of sustainable electric mobility, aligning with PEUGEOT’s efforts to create a cleaner automotive future. In an interactive session, Generation Alpha (children born after 2010) posed pressing questions about EVs, reinforcing the role of younger generations in shaping future mobility.
Looking Ahead: A Year of Performance and Progress
As PEUGEOT enters performance mode for 2025, the brand remains committed to its five E-pillars: Electric, Efficiency, Experience, Education, and Environment. With an expanded EV lineup, industry-leading efficiency, customer-centric innovations, and a steadfast commitment to sustainability, PEUGEOT is driving towards a brighter, cleaner, and more performance-driven future.
