South Africa, Johannesburg, 25 March 2024: The retail motor industry witnessed a celebration of excellence at the prestigious 2023 MSXi | NADA Dealership of the Year Awards, held at The Houghton Hotel in Gauteng on Thursday, 15th March 2024. Hosted as part of the culminating event of the impactful #NADA Dealer Connect 2024, the black-tie affair in Johannesburg welcomed business owners, sponsors, dealer principals, NADA, and RMI executives for an exclusive evening of recognition and camaraderie.

In its 26th year, this event stands as a testament to the dedication and innovation within the dealer network. Esteemed industry leaders, stakeholders, dealership CEOs, and distinguished guests gathered to acknowledge and honour the outstanding achievements of NADA members across the country.

The awards ceremony, orchestrated to honour exceptional performance within automotive dealerships, serves as the sole independent validation of dealership profitability. MSX International (MSXi) meticulously measures the financial performance of more than 1,000 South African franchised dealers, spotlighting the top performers across five distinct categories:

  • Commercial Vehicle Dealership
  • Independent Dealership
  • Unlisted Group
  • Listed Group
  • Luxury Group Dealership

The pinnacle of the evening is the highly respected MSXi | NADA Dealership of the Year Award, selected from the highest achievers across these five categories.

Additionally, the event featured the presentation of the Most Improved Performance Group Member award, a category venerable in its existence prior to the inception of the Dealership Awards. Dealers in this group undergo a thorough evaluation over a two-year period.
