17th November 2022: To celebrate UK Disability History Month (this month) and International Day of People with Disabilities (3rd December), Osprey Charging, one of the UK’s leading networks of rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging points, today announces that it will be displaying All In Charge by illustrator Ella Murray across its EV chargers.

All In Charge was chosen following a call for artwork submissions that demonstrated support for, and solidarity with the disabled community. It will be printed into high quality wraps and exhibited on 23 of Osprey’s 75kW chargers in December at the following rapid charging locations:

Bowen Square, Daventry
Golden Hind, Birmingham
The Squirrel, Ludlow
The Bear Inn, Street
Stourvale, Christchurch
The Wharf, Dartford
Burger King, Gloucester
The Crown, Bournemouth
Wardentree, Spalding
Willows, Blackburn

Osprey’s chargers are currently hosting artwork by Kaia Allen-Bevan, a Racial Justice / Anti Racism advocate, in celebration of Black History Month (1st – 31st October) and which challenges the public to learn more about black history and black experiences and act on this all year round. This artwork will remain until early in the new year.

Before this, in July, Osprey showcased artwork by queer illustrator and graphic designer Ben White to celebrate Pride and show its support for the LGBTQI+ community.

Ian Johnston, CEO of Osprey Charging said:
“We’ve been so encouraged by the response to our artwork campaigns, and thank UK Disability History Awareness particularly for supporting us. The themes we choose are important to our staff and customers. Huge congratulations to Ella Murray and I know this artwork will inspire drivers and others at our charging locations to consider and make choices that respect people with all kinds of disabilities.”

Ella Murray said:
“I’m very flattered that Osprey has chosen to display my artwork on their chargers. So much needs to be considered when installing chargers and building charging hubs. I myself know of some of the challenges faced everyday being on the autistic spectrum and appreciate anything that can make life a little bit easier. Thanks to Osprey for giving me a platform to display my art whilst creating such a positive, empowering message.”
