Alpine Cars UK has announced that orders are now open for the all-new Alpine A290+ range, with every version eligible for the full £3,750 Electric Car Grant (ECG). Prices start from £30,245 after the grant, making the award-winning hot hatch more accessible than ever.
The ‘+’ designation applies to the updated GT+, GT Performance+, and GTS+ models, all of which now feature one-pedal driving functionality and a standard two-tone paint option. These enhancements combine Alpine’s signature driving excitement with a suite of modern EV conveniences, ensuring a compelling package for both new and existing fans of the brand.
The full ECG saving has been unlocked thanks to Renault Group’s continued commitment to Science Based Target Initiative (SBTI) standards, alongside battery production now sourced from the newly opened Douai gigafactory in France—meeting the UK Government’s strict environmental criteria.

In addition to the core upgrades, Alpine is offering two Atelier Alpine customisation packages as part of the Signature Colourline Pack range. The Bleu Pack features blue Alpine Brembo brake calipers, an anodised blue matt roof rail, black snowflake wheels with a blue line, and blue-stitched Alpine logos on the carpet floor mats. The Rouge Pack mirrors these features in red.
UK buyers can also opt for the Tricolore Design and Signature Tricolore packs. The Tricolore Design pack includes a blue steering wheel centre with Alpine branding and a French flag exterior motif. The Signature Tricolore pack builds on this with additional driver assistance and safety technologies, such as intelligent cruise control, hands-free parking, blind spot monitoring, and reverse parking monitoring.
The Alpine A290 continues to garner accolades, recently being crowned Car of the Year by 60 expert jurors across 23 European countries, and named Autocar’s Best Fun EV earlier this year.
