London, 7 April 2025 – Momentum continues to build for OMODA&JAECOO UK as the two rising automotive brands closed out a stellar first quarter with a combined total of 3,868 vehicles sold in March—surpassing sales for January and February combined. With Q1 2025 sales reaching 6,427 units, the brands have firmly established themselves as serious contenders in the UK market, outperforming several established legacy and EV-only manufacturers.
Driving the surge in sales is the growing appetite for new energy vehicles, led by the JAECOO 7 SHS and OMODA E5. The JAECOO 7, launched to acclaim earlier this year, continues to impress with its Super Hybrid System (SHS)—a technological leap that marries luxury and efficiency, appealing to both private buyers and business fleets. Meanwhile, the OMODA 5 and all-electric E5 have amassed 4,953 and 1,902 sales respectively since launch, bolstered by strategic incentives including £0 deposit and 0% finance offers on the E5.
As the brands charge into Q2, confidence is high that this upward trajectory will continue despite recent VED (Vehicle Excise Duty) changes introduced in April. Demand at the retailer level remains strong, underpinned by a growing lineup of innovative vehicles and increased brand visibility. The April launch of the OMODA 9 SHS—a new flagship SUV—is expected to generate even greater interest, with first customer deliveries scheduled for June.

Victor Zhang, UK Director for OMODA&JAECOO, expressed his enthusiasm:
“With OMODA and JAECOO now successfully immersed in the UK market, both brands have demonstrated their mass appeal among a wide cross-section of drivers. With more models arriving over the coming months – including our flagship OMODA 9 luxury SUV, and also the OMODA 7 and JAECOO 5 – customers in the retail and fleet sectors will have even more choice as we focus firmly on achieving our sales target of 30,000 vehicles sold in 2025 inclusive.”
The rapid sales growth is also a reflection of the brands’ expanding dealer network, now encompassing 73 locations nationwide. Key partnerships with trusted names like Arnold Clark, Listers, and RRG Group ensure national coverage and accessibility for customers across the UK.
Complementing the sales appeal is a standard seven-year/100,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty, offered across the current vehicle lineup—adding a layer of reassurance for value-conscious buyers seeking long-term reliability.
With a compelling blend of design, technology, and forward-thinking engineering, OMODA&JAECOO are not just keeping pace with the evolving UK automotive landscape—they’re shaping it. As 2025 unfolds, all eyes will be on how these dynamic brands continue to challenge expectations and redefine modern mobility.
