London, 12 March 2025 – Less than six months after launching OMODA in September 2024 and just three months since the arrival of JAECOO in January 2025, OMODA&JAECOO UK has already made a significant impact in the UK automotive market. The latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reveal that OMODA&JAECOO has registered a total of 2,561 vehicles so far this year, positioning itself as one of the most successful new market entrants.

OMODA has achieved 1,112 registrations in 2025, including both the petrol-powered OMODA 5 and the all-electric OMODA E5. Meanwhile, JAECOO, which debuted with the luxurious and versatile JAECOO 7 SUV, has registered an impressive 1,449 units since its launch. This success is not only a testament to the strength of the OMODA and JAECOO brands but also highlights their competitive positioning against established legacy manufacturers and EV-centric original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

Victor Zhang, UK Director of OMODA&JAECOO, commented on the strong performance: “We have become the most successful OMODA&JAECOO new market introduction by volume. Based on the current figures from SMMT for 2025, we are well on track to exceed our total of 3,383 registrations from August to December 2024 by the end of Q1 2025.”

Zhang continued: “Achieving this level of success in such a short time requires a strong team, an expanding dealer network, and vehicles that are competitively priced for both private and fleet markets. Our success is just the beginning, and we will continue to grow our UK presence, dealer network, and vehicle lineup throughout 2025 and beyond.”
