London, 21 January 2026 – OMODA UK has taken a bold step into the hybrid market with the introduction of its first full-hybrid SUV, the OMODA 5 SHS-H. Building on the success of the OMODA 5 petrol and E5 electric models, the SHS-H offers UK drivers a self-charging, plug-free hybrid solution, combining efficiency, performance, and style in one accessible package.
Designed for everyday driving without compromise, the OMODA 5 SHS-H is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a dedicated hybrid DHT automatic transmission. Delivering a combined 150 kW of power to the front wheels, the SUV accelerates from 0–62 mph in just 7.9 seconds while offering an impressive total range of over 650 miles. With up to 53 mpg (WLTP) and a 51-litre fuel tank, the SHS-H is engineered to balance responsive performance with long-distance efficiency, making it perfectly suited for UK roads.
The 2026 OMODA 5 SHS-H introduces subtle but striking design updates, including a refreshed front grille and bumper, updated alloy wheels, and a choice of five exterior colours – Galena Silver, Garnet Red, Obsidian Black, Selenite White, and Tourmaline Grey. Select colours are also available with two-tone paint finishes, adding further visual flair.
Available in two trim levels, Knight and Noble, the OMODA 5 SHS-H caters to a wide range of customer needs. The Knight trim offers a strong standard specification with 18-inch alloys, full LED lighting, dual 12.3-inch digital displays, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, intelligent voice control, and a full suite of driver assistance systems. The Noble trim builds on this foundation, delivering a more premium experience with features such as a 540-degree surround-view camera, 8-speaker SONY audio system, ambient interior lighting, and heated and ventilated front seats.

Priced from £25,740 OTR* for the Knight trim and £29,240 OTR* for the Noble, all OMODA 5 SHS-H models come with a 7-year/100,000-mile vehicle warranty and an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty.
