XPENG UK has announced a strategic partnership with Ohme, the UK’s largest home EV charging company, to support its customers’ seamless transition to electric mobility. The partnership will see Ohme become XPENG’s exclusive home charging partner, offering a complete home charger and installation solution to buyers of the new XPENG G6 Long Range.
As part of the launch, customers purchasing an XPENG G6 Long Range model before the end of September 2025 will receive a complimentary Ohme home EV charger, marking a significant step forward in delivering a hassle-free, cost-effective EV ownership experience.

The G6 Long Range, the debut UK model from XPENG, is a sleek mid-size coupe SUV with an 87.5 kWh battery and a WLTP range of up to 354 miles. With Ohme’s dynamic smart charging technology, the G6 can be fully charged for as little as £6.13 when using energy tariffs such as Intelligent Octopus Go*—bringing affordable long-distance EV travel firmly within reach.
Ohme’s award-winning chargers are compatible with the UK’s most cost-effective and renewable-friendly tariffs. By integrating real-time grid data, the chargers automatically optimise charging schedules to draw electricity when it’s cheapest and greenest. Drivers can also take advantage of the solar boost function, which uses surplus home solar generation to top up their vehicle, reducing both cost and carbon footprint.
This new collaboration also ensures that XPENG UK’s retail network will receive full installation support, training and customer assistance from Ohme—empowering retailers to offer a truly end-to-end EV experience.
