Nova Motorsport Upholds Avon Tyres’ Legacy in European Motorsport as Title Sponsor of French Rallycross Championship
Nova Motorsport, a global tyre brand and licensed manufacturer of Avon Motorsport tyres, has proudly announced its role as the series sponsor for the 2024 French Rallycross Championship (FFSA Championnat De France Rallycross). The prestigious nine-round series is set to resume on May 25th, continuing the esteemed legacy of Avon Motorsport / Cooper Tire in European rallycross.

By ensuring the ongoing supply of the multiple-championship-winning ACB11 rallycross tyre and developing innovative products for the future, Nova Motorsport cements its dedication to the sport.
Recognized as one of the strongest national series, the French championship broadens rallycross appeal through its female and junior categories. This new agreement marks Nova Motorsport’s fourth major motorsport partnership, adding to its involvement in the RallyX championship, Peter Auto historic racing, and the British Hillclimb Championship, with numerous other championships supported by the brand’s global dealer network.
Nova Motorsport’s Commercial and Technical HQ in Holt, UK, announced on May 22, 2024, the strategic sponsorship of the FFSA Championnat De France Rallycross. The series will kick off at Faleyras in southwest France from May 25th to 26th.
Nova Motorsport, a brand inspired by heritage and dedicated to technical excellence, has acquired Avon Motorsport’s assets from Cooper Tire. Building on the rich legacy established by Avon Motorsport / Cooper Tire, Nova Motorsport aims to further its global rallycross commitments.
The partnership ensures the continued supply of the acclaimed Avon Motorsport / Cooper Tire ACB11 rallycross tyre for the 2024 season. Nova Motorsport is establishing a global research and development and manufacturing hub at the Camac production facility in Portugal, acquired last month.
A comprehensive test program for the first rallycross tyres produced at the new facility in Portugal will commence later this year. This initiative will run alongside an R&D drive focused on developing sustainable, high-performance products for the future.
