Nissan has turned to its heavyweight commercial vehicle relatives to help publicise its new NV400 panel van range to potential business customers.
Fifteen HGV and trailers are emblazoned with 96-sheet High Dimension truck wraps of the new Nissan van under the titles of ‘The New NV400 – Speaks Volumes’ and ‘The New NV400 – We’re Changing the Face of Vans’.
The trucks travel daily up and down 10 of the country’s main motorways covering 150,000 miles per month, putting Nissan’s new NV400 in front of an estimated 18 million drivers.
This is the first advertising campaign for the NV400 since its November 2011 launch and the focus is very much on the van’s generous load volume and the news that Nissan has a new large panel van to replace the venerable Interstar.
“What better way to show business users our new NV400 than on the side of a massive HGV,” explained Francis Bleasdale, Nissan Motor GB’s LCV sales and marketing director.
“The NV400 is a big van in every sense and we believe this new advertising campaign will get it off to a solid start with British businesses,” he added.
NV400 is the first Nissan panel van available with either front or rear wheel drive with a choice of 100PS, 125PS or 150PS diesel engines driving through a six speed manual or automatic transmission. With four load lengths, three load heights, a load volume of between eight and 17 cubic metres and a choice of four gross vehicle weights ranging from 2.8 tonnes to 4.5 tonnes, the NV400 is a van for all occupations.
