SHARK Helmets has supported many racers, including world champions, over the years and is currently investing in a whole host of future stars in MotoGP, Moto3, Moto2, World Superbikes, World Supersport, British Superbikes and road racing. SHARK’s 2012 range, which was unveiled earlier this year, included various racing replicas and now the French company has announced the addition of a new design, this time for rising Moto2 star Johann Zarco.

Shark Helmets

The young Frenchman was the 2011 runner-up in the 125cc championship and progressed to Moto2 for 2012. He has been consistent ever since.  Impressing with a brace of top-ten finishes, the highest of which was fourth at Estoril, Portugal. The Zarco replica design is available on the popular S 700S model, which features an internal sunshield, updated ventilation and weighs 1550g. It will be available in UK dealers from mid-August, and priced at £169.99.

The original replica collection from SHARK included British rider Scott Redding’s unique Union Jack and British Bulldog design on the S 700S, Speed –R and the Race –R Pro. The S 700S features Redding’s colours in a matt finish, while the brand-new Speed-R has the design, just without the Union Jack on the brow. The Race –R Pro is the helmet chosen and developed by SHARK’s racers and is also available in Redding’s design. All the Redding replicas are available now in UK dealers and priced at £169.99 for the S 700S, £299.99 for the Speed –R and £549.99 for the Race –R Pro.

Next to Redding, there are two further replicas in the Race –R Pro range: Troy Corser and Randy de Puniet. Corser wore SHARK for nine-years, and retired from the sport in 2011. The Australians’ design features his blue, green, white and red colours as well as his famous crocodile motif. Following the success of his previous designs, Randy de Puniet’s replica is a striking black-based helmet with bold red and white blocks of colour and his racing number 14 integrated into the artwork. Both replicas are available in UK dealers and priced at £549.99.
