Renault has officially opened order books for the new Trafic E-Tech 100% electric, with prices starting at £34,500 plus VAT after the £5,000 Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG). Deliveries are slated to begin in September, marking a significant step forward in Renault’s commitment to sustainable transportation.

Diverse Options for Every Need
The Trafic E-Tech comes in three versions, including a unique high-roof model for the UK market. This addition to Renault’s Pro+ range, which already includes the Kangoo E-Tech and Master E-Tech, ensures that businesses of all sizes can now find an all-electric light commercial vehicle (LCV) to meet their needs.

Flexible Configurations
The van offers two body lengths (5.08 and 5.48 meters) and two heights (1.967 and 2.498 meters), providing a load space ranging from 5.8m³ to 8.9m³. The long wheelbase version includes a load-through facility, allowing for loads up to 4.15 meters in length. Additionally, the Trafic E-Tech boasts a towing capacity of up to 920kg and a maximum payload of 1,222kg, making it a robust choice for a variety of tasks.

Practical and Spacious Interior
Inside, the Trafic E-Tech is designed to support hardworking tradespeople with 88 liters of in-cab storage, including 19.7 liters in the console, 14.6 liters in the doors, and 54 liters in the bench. The innovative “mobile office” feature, now a staple for tradespeople, offers a folding table with a detachable A4 clipboard and laptop storage.

Impressive Electric Performance
Equipped with a 52kWh lithium-ion battery, the Trafic E-Tech delivers a range of up to 186 miles (WLTP) on a single charge. Rapid DC charging capability up to 50kW means the battery can be fully recharged from flat in just one hour, ensuring minimal downtime.

Premium Comfort and Convenience
The interior is finished with a premium dashboard featuring horizontal grain and chrome styling, a 7-inch color TFT driver information display, height-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support and armrest, electric front windows, air conditioning with a pollen filter, and the Mobile Office setup.

Optional Upgrades
For those seeking additional comfort and safety, available options include climate control, heated seats, 360° parking sensors, a rear parking camera, automatic high beam, rain-sensitive wipers, and blind spot warning. Various door and glazing configurations are also available to suit specific needs.

The Renault Trafic E-Tech 100% electric sets a new standard in the electric LCV market, offering a versatile, practical, and environmentally friendly solution for businesses looking to transition to zero-emission vehicles.
