Motorcycle Live has announced that visitors travelling by car to this year’s show (24 November-2 December) at the NEC in Birmingham will receive a £2 redemption voucher against the cost of their parking.

The offer has been introduced following a recent increase in car parking charges at the NEC; an increase that organisers MCI Exhibitions felt was unacceptable for show visitors.

Motorcycle Live visitors parking cars at the NEC will be given a voucher when they pay for their parking on the way into the complex and the voucher may be redeemed for £2 in cash in Hall 2 only during the day of the visit between 10.00am and 5.00pm.

Visitors who booked their parking in advance wi ll also be contacted and offered the chance of a £1 refund.

Motorcycle parking remains free of charge at Motorcycle Live and visitors riding to the show can leave their machines securely in the Yamaha Bike Park in Hall 1. As usual, biking charity Riders for Health will also have its helmet park available.

Finlay McAllan, managing director of MCIE, said: “We felt that the NEC’s recent increase in parking charges was too much for Motorcycle Live visitors this year. This is just our way of saying ‘thanks for your support’ to those travelling to the show by car this year.”

Motorcycle Live 2012 runs from Saturday 24 November to Sunday 2 December at The NEC, Birmingham. The all-inclusive ticket gives access to five exhibition halls crammed with all the latest bikes, clothing and accessories and seven FREE opportunities to ride a bike**, plus the BSH/Streetfighters Custom Xtreme Zone, the Yamaha Escape Zone, the Classic Zone in association with Coventry Transport Museum and FREE entry into the Ramp’d Up Freestyle Motocross Arena**.

Advance tickets for Motorcycle Live 2012 cost just £16 per adult, £10 for seniors and £6 per child*. To book your tickets, call 0844 581 2345 or visit motorcyclelive.co.uk
