The MINI Countryman E has taken another bold step forward in the electric mobility revolution. Building on its 2023 debut as the first all-electric MINI Countryman, the third-generation model now delivers a single-charge range of up to 307 miles (WLTP*), offering customers unprecedented versatility without compromise. For the MINI Countryman SE ALL4, the improved range reaches an impressive 287 miles (WLTP*), a testament to MINI’s commitment to blending performance, practicality, and cutting-edge technology.

Technological Innovations Drive Efficiency

These enhanced range figures are the result of a suite of technical refinements designed to optimise energy use. Central to this is a new silicon carbide (SiC) inverter, which ensures highly efficient energy conversion while minimising power loss. Complementing this is an increased net high-voltage battery capacity of 65.2 kWh, giving drivers more usable energy per charge. MINI has also introduced friction-reduced wheel bearings on the front axle, further reducing rolling resistance and ensuring that every mile counts.

The combination of these advancements ensures that drivers can enjoy longer journeys with fewer stops, all while maintaining MINI’s renowned driving dynamics.

Full Electric Car Grant Makes Ownership Even More Accessible

In addition to its improved performance, the MINI Countryman Electric now qualifies for the full £3,750 contribution under the UK government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG) scheme. This significant saving, available on models delivered from March 2026 onwards, makes it easier than ever for drivers to embrace electric mobility.

A Compact Crossover with Iconic MINI Character

The MINI Countryman Electric retains the unmistakable design and driving experience that has made MINI a household name. Compact yet spacious, it blends the versatility of a crossover with the iconic proportions MINI enthusiasts love: short overhangs, a short bonnet, and a long wheelbase. Generous interior dimensions and a boot space of up to 1,450 litres mean the Countryman is ready for family life, adventure, or a weekend getaway.

Visually, the updated model enhances road presence with larger wheels, wider wheel arches, and a refined exterior free of chrome accents. Drivers can choose from nine exterior paint colours and nine alloy designs, offering nearly limitless opportunities for personalisation.

Minimalist, Intuitive Interior

Inside, the MINI Countryman Electric embraces a minimalist aesthetic, drawing attention to the central design elements: the iconic round instrument cluster, the toggle bar, and the steering wheel. The new 24 cm circular OLED display serves as the hub for the infotainment system, allowing intuitive control over navigation, media, and vehicle settings.

Advanced driver assistance technologies bring Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities, ensuring a safer, more comfortable experience on every journey. These systems are seamlessly integrated, providing support without detracting from MINI’s signature driving feel.

Ready for the Road in 2026

With its extended electric range, enhanced technology, and full government grant eligibility, the MINI Countryman Electric strengthens its position as one of the most compelling compact electric crossovers on the market. Deliveries for the increased-range model begin in March 2026, offering drivers a chance to enjoy longer, more versatile journeys with the unmistakable character of a MINI.

The MINI Countryman E demonstrates that electric mobility can be practical, fun, and unmistakably MINI – all without compromise.
