As hybrid vehicles continue to gain traction in the high-performance automotive world, Milltek Sport is making sure their exhaust notes don’t fall behind. The renowned British exhaust specialist is expanding its range of performance systems to support some of the most desirable electrified machines on the market, combining cutting-edge engineering with a distinctive sonic edge.
Leading the charge is the latest G90 BMW M5, now available with Milltek’s Axle Back Exhaust System. Designed for both the saloon and upcoming Touring variant, the system not only caters to standard models but is also compatible with M Sport Carbon Pack-equipped cars. Enthusiasts looking for a more motorsport-inspired setup can opt for a GPF Delete version, which incorporates a valved Active Centre section controlled by the driver, offering an even more visceral experience behind the wheel.
Milltek’s hybrid portfolio doesn’t stop there. Owners of Land Rover’s electrified SUV range now have access to bespoke Milltek systems tailored to each model. The Range Rover P460e, P510e, and P550e benefit from a refined Axle Back upgrade, while Defender P300e and P400e variants—including the 90, 110 and 130 derivatives—can be fitted with a Particulate Filter Back system, available in both resonated and non-resonated formats to suit individual sound preferences.

Looking ahead, Milltek has confirmed that it is currently developing exhaust systems for two of the most potent hybrid SUVs on the planet: the Lamborghini Urus SE and the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid. With launch plans in the near future, these additions further signal Milltek’s intent to bring thrilling sound and presence to every corner of the performance hybrid segment.
“We believe hybrid vehicles are a big part of the automotive future,” says Kev Hall, Technical Operations Manager at Milltek. “This is why we are investing in developing performance exhausts for more hybrid models.
“This delivers the best of all worlds to owners. They enjoy the benefits of an electrified drivetrain with enhanced exhaust sound, as well as the longevity of Milltek’s aircraft-grade stainless steel systems developed here in the UK and produced at our Derby facilities.”
As automotive enthusiasts seek the emotional appeal of traditional performance blended with the innovation of electrified powertrains, Milltek is leading the way in ensuring that hybrids still stir the senses—one roar at a time.
