The highly-regarded Michelin Training Centre (MTC) has confirmed that it will make its first appearance at a Brityrex exhibition in Manchester this October.
For more than 25 years the Stoke-on-Trent based organisation has been considered the reference point for tyre industry training in the UK and Ireland. MTC offers a comprehensive portfolio of more than 100 training courses, many with City & Guilds, IMI and REACT accreditation, covering all aspects and roles in the tyre industry. These range from fitting and technical courses for tyre fitters and technicians, to sales training for site and field-based staff and management training and development courses for depot managers and business owners.
MTC Training Instructor Charly Bailey, commented: “Training and development of people is essential for the future of every business, and that’s why we trained more than 1,500 people last year, helping improve standards in the tyre industry. Michelin’s fully-equipped training centre in Stoke-on-Trent boasts the latest technologies, with six lecture rooms, an IT suite, on-site truck, agricultural and earthmover workshops, mocked-up tyre dealer premises and video / role-play facilities. MTC trainers also deliver training at customers’ sites, tailored to individual requirements.
MTC will be exhibiting on Stand number 44 at Brityrex and show visitors are encouraged to call in for practical demonstrations and professional advice about their training needs.
