Stuttgart/Munich. On 7 September 2025, Mercedes-Benz will unveil the all-new GLC with EQ Technology at IAA MOBILITY in Munich, marking the beginning of a bold new era in the brand’s design philosophy. It is the first series-production model to embody the next phase of Sensual Purity, presenting a fresh interpretation of the iconic Mercedes-Benz design language inside and out.
A Striking New Exterior, an Inviting New Interior
The new GLC debuts with an exterior that signals the future of the marque. A reimagined grille introduces the new face of Mercedes-Benz, balancing confidence and elegance with a distinctly progressive edge. Inside, the cabin reflects a seamless blend of flowing sculptural forms and state-of-the-art digital technologies, creating an atmosphere that feels simultaneously personal, intuitive, and connected.
At the heart of this transformation lies the all-new MBUX HYPERSCREEN—a display that redefines the driving experience with unprecedented scale, clarity, and interaction.
The Largest and Most Advanced Mercedes-Benz Display Ever
Stretching an extraordinary 99.3 centimetres (39.1 inches) from pillar to pillar, the latest MBUX HYPERSCREEN is the largest ever fitted to a Mercedes-Benz production vehicle. Its floating design dominates the cabin with a sense of majesty and belonging, encapsulating the brand’s celebrated “Welcome home.” ethos.
This seamless display introduces matrix backlight technology with more than 1,000 individual LEDs, delivering exceptional clarity, vibrant colours, and true-to-life visuals. Intelligent zone dimming ensures that two display areas can be adjusted independently, keeping key information visible at all times while reducing driver distraction. Mercedes-Benz has filed a patent for this pioneering feature, underscoring its commitment to innovation in digital ergonomics.

Design That Blends Form and Function
The interior design extends far beyond the screen. A sweeping decorative sculpture unites the centre console with the instrument panel in one fluid surface, elegantly highlighted by ambient lighting along its lower edge. Thoughtful details such as inductive rapid smartphone charging trays, a refined hard-key control strip, separated cupholders, and galvanised air vents emphasise both functionality and aesthetic purity.
Even climate adjustments are brought to life, briefly altering the colour of ambient lighting and vent illumination to provide intuitive confirmation of changes. Door panels remain clean and minimalistic, adorned with metallic speaker grilles, while seating design embraces modern minimalism with luxury finishes.
Immersive Atmospheres with High-Resolution Ambient Styles
Mercedes-Benz has elevated personalisation through a suite of new high-resolution ambient styles. These digital background motifs transform the cabin’s atmosphere with precision and artistry, ranging from serene and calming to bold and expressive. Instrument cluster tones, control elements, and ambient lighting synchronise perfectly with these motifs, enabling occupants to craft their own immersive digital world inside the vehicle.
The integration of the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) ensures these experiences feel seamless, blending the physical and digital realms into a cohesive environment of luxury and convenience.
Redefining Digital Luxury
With the all-new GLC, Mercedes-Benz has created an interior that embodies both elegance and technological mastery. The breathtaking new MBUX HYPERSCREEN, combined with curated ambient motifs, sculptural design elements, and intuitive functionality, elevates the brand’s hallmark sense of comfort, safety, and reassurance.
This is not simply a new chapter for the GLC. It is a redefinition of what digital sophistication and luxury mean in the modern era—an immersive interior experience that invites every driver and passenger to feel truly at home.
