24 February 2025, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom – Mercedes-Benz UK has made an impressive start to 2025, achieving a 15 percent increase in new vehicle registrations in January compared to the same period last year. With 6,361 units registered, Mercedes-Benz continues to make strides in an evolving market, positioning itself as a key player in both the luxury and electric vehicle sectors.
The company’s continued success is largely driven by the growing demand for electric vehicles (BEVs), which accounted for over a third of the registrations in January. This surge in electric sales has cemented Mercedes-Benz’s position as the second-largest BEV manufacturer in the UK for the month. With this strong beginning, the brand is poised to set the tone for an exciting and transformative year ahead.
