AMG Performance Tour set to revolutionise Sandton
Mercedes-AMG is driving performance to the streets of Sandton with a specialised event for customers and members of the public. Patrons will be exposed to the full Mercedes-AMG product line-up including the star of the show – the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT 3 – a super sports car to be revered. Its explosive sound is something to be experienced!
On Saturday 21st November, from 10:00 to 16:00, a customised street circuit of 2,300 m around George Lea South Park will be transformed into the track for this exciting and unique event.
The circuit includes a pit area and will offer various driving demonstrations and experiences, with professional drivers from the AMG Driving Academy team doing demonstration laps around this customised circuit in the Mercedes-AMG GT and C 63.
An impressive line-up of the latest models from the Mercedes-Benz SUV range will include the luxurious off-roader, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63, and the sporty GLE 63 Coupé.
The vehicle display will mesmerise motoring enthusiasts as the full range of Mercedes-AMG vehicles will be available and these will include the iconic SL 63 AMG roadster; the sexy SLK 55 AMG sports car; the most beautiful car in the world, the S 63 AMG and the S 63 AMG Coupé; the CLS 63 AMG; and the high-performance executive sedan, the E 63 AMG.
A public hospitality area within George Lea South Park will provide fun for the entire family with food stalls and refreshments available for purchase. There will be entertainment for everyone, a viewing deck available and an interactive and fully supervised children’s play area will keep the kiddies occupied.
For listening pleasure, a live concert by popular entertainers Mi Casa and Jimmy Nevis will keep patrons entertained.
Entrance to this spectacular extravaganza is free and the public is invited to come along to experience and enjoy the passion and dynamism of Mercedes-AMG.
