Road racing favorite Guy Martin will be in Ireland on Saturday 25 August, making a special appearance at Dainese’s premier Irish dealership, Bikeworld.
Fresh from his win at the Ulster Grand Prix on 14 August, Martin will be visiting the store to meet and greet his loyal fans. A favourite with many road racing fan, the Dainese-man is know for his no-nonsence approach to racing, love of anything mechanical, big sideburns and a good mug of English tea! Although victorious at the Ulster GP, the Lincolnshire-ace is still awaiting victory at the Isle of Man TT races. Something he has been close to – stepping onto the podium on numerous occasions – but never the elusive top-spot. It’s safe to say that when he wins at the TT, the cheers from the grandstand will be heard in Lincolnshire all the way from the Isle of Man.
Guy Martin: I am looking forward meeting all the guys at Bikeworld and my fans – they can all help me celebrate my recent win at Ulster. It was a great result for me and the TAS boys, and a real boost for 2012 after the TT, which didn’t quite go to plan. But it’s onwards and upwards, we have learnt a lot this season and will take that with us into next. See you all on the 25th!
Les Griffin, Bikeworld: We obviously cannot wait to welcome Guy to the store on the 25th. He has such a presence in the road racing world and is a fan’s favourite, so to have him visit Bikeworld is a real honour. Fans will have the chance to speak with Guy, have a photo taken, autograph signed etc, and will be able to have a look round our showroom full of Dainese and AGV products.
Martin will be present at Bikeworld from 11am – 5pm on Saturday 25 August, meeting fans and signing autographs.
