McLaren Toronto Honored as McLaren Automotive’s Global Retailer of the Year 2023
For the second time, McLaren Toronto has been crowned as McLaren Automotive’s Global Retailer of the Year, rising above a competitive shortlist of 12 high-performing retailers from around the globe.
The prestigious award was announced during McLaren’s exclusive Premier Club event, held across the UK and the South of France. Despite navigating challenging market conditions, McLaren Toronto demonstrated consistently strong retail performance, earning this distinguished accolade.
Known for their exceptional aftersales service, McLaren Toronto has been a standout in the Americas region, frequently ranking among the top five performing retailers. This recent recognition adds to their impressive history, having been named McLaren Automotive’s Global Retailer of the Year in 2017 and Regional Retailer of the Year for the Americas in 2016.
In addition to McLaren Toronto’s global achievement, McLaren Osaka was celebrated as the Regional Retailer of the Year for APACHI, and McLaren Zürich received the same honor for the EMEA region.
McLaren Automotive’s rigorous benchmarking process, which includes a comprehensive monthly evaluation using a digital scorecard, identifies top performers. The 12 leading retailers then become members of McLaren’s Premier Club and are considered for regional and overall awards.
Representatives from the Premier Club gathered in Europe from June 11 to 14 for the Retailer of the Year Premier Club Event. This exclusive event featured a preview and driving experience of the highly anticipated McLaren Artura Spider, the brand’s new high-performance hybrid convertible supercar.
McLaren Toronto’s name will be engraved on the prestigious Retailer of the Year trophy, which will be proudly displayed in the expanding McLaren Technology Centre trophy cabinet. Regional winners will also receive a Premier Club trophy to showcase in their showrooms.
The 2023 Premier Club members include: McLaren Zürich, McLaren Manchester, McLaren Utrecht, McLaren Johannesburg, McLaren Singapore, McLaren Guangzhou, McLaren Osaka, McLaren Sydney, McLaren Boston, McLaren Scottsdale, McLaren São Paulo, and McLaren Toronto.
