Modena, Italy — 2 October 2024
In a deeply symbolic gesture, Maserati unveiled a bespoke creation that encapsulates over a century of automotive passion and heritage. The MC20 Maserati per Maserati, a one-off edition, was commissioned by the grandchildren of Ettore Maserati, the legendary founder of the Italian luxury brand, as a tribute to the family’s enduring legacy in the world of motorsport and automotive excellence.

In September 2024, within the hallowed grounds of the Trident’s historic headquarters on Viale Ciro Menotti in Modena, this masterpiece was presented to Alberto and Ettore Maserati, who share not only a surname but also a profound connection to their grandfather’s legacy. Their mission: to create a lasting symbol of the Maserati name for future generations, ensuring that the passion for performance and design that has defined the brand for 110 years continues to inspire.

A Maserati Like No Other
The MC20 Maserati per Maserati is a stunning embodiment of the company’s dedication to craftsmanship, innovation, and personalisation. Based on the acclaimed MC20, Maserati’s halo car and a flagship of the Trident’s resurgence, this bespoke super sports car is powered by the 621-horsepower V6 Nettuno engine, showcasing a fusion of advanced engineering and raw power. Every detail of this model has been meticulously tailored through Maserati’s exclusive Fuoriserie personalisation programme, which allows discerning clients to customise their vehicles to the highest degree.

The Blu Infinito exterior, a nod to one of Maserati’s signature colours, is strikingly complemented by dual Bianco Pastello stripes, giving the vehicle an unmistakably sporty aesthetic. The harmonious contrast between the bold paintwork and the racing-inspired accents is accentuated by the Grey Pastel Trident emblem on the rear tonneau cover, where the Nettuno engine roars beneath the surface.

Further exterior customisations include carbon fibre detailing and bespoke Maserati per Maserati and Maserati Fuoriserie logos in Bianco Pastello on the rear fender. The 20-inch Glossy Black wheels and Rosso brake callipers add another layer of dynamism, underscoring the car’s unapologetic blend of performance and luxury.

Mc20 Maserati Per Maserati A Unique Tribute To Tradition And Innovation

A Luxurious and Sporty Interior
Inside, the MC20 Maserati per Maserati offers an equally compelling experience. The cabin, dominated by Alcantara and carbon fibre, exudes both sophistication and sportiness. The Nero/Nero steering wheel, framed by carbon fibre accents, provides a tactile connection to the car’s immense power. Six-way adjustable sports seats, upholstered in a combination of Nero-Blu New and Blu Backing, immerse the driver and passenger in comfort without compromising the racing spirit.

The contrasting Nero/Blu theme extends to the dashboard and door panels, with Macrotwill carbon-fibre accents providing the finishing touches to an interior that’s as refined as it is purposeful. Every element of the design reflects Maserati’s commitment to both luxury and performance, staying true to the Trident’s ethos.

A Family Reunion at the Heart of Maserati
The handover of this bespoke MC20 was an intimate affair, witnessed by Ettore Maserati’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren, alongside members of Maserati’s senior leadership and historic figures. Luca Delfino, Maserati’s Global Chief Commercial Officer, was on hand for the delivery, joined by Andrea Bertolini, Maserati’s Chief Test Driver, and Ermanno Cozza, a revered figure within the company who began his journey as an apprentice engine repairer in 1951.

In a poignant nod to the brand’s illustrious past, the unveiling was framed by a trio of vintage Maserati icons: the A6, 6C34, and 6CM, evoking the company’s long-standing association with motorsport and innovation. It was a moment that felt like a family reunion, bringing together the old and the new in a celebration of Maserati’s legacy.

A Collector’s Dream
The MC20 Maserati per Maserati is more than just a car—it is a living embodiment of the Maserati family’s DNA, a tangible link between past, present, and future. For Alberto and Ettore Maserati, this vehicle is a way to pass down their heritage to their own children, an icon of Italian craftsmanship and performance that will remain a symbol of the brand’s excellence for generations to come.

This bespoke creation is the ultimate testament to the values that have driven Maserati for over a century: style, elegance, quality, and a relentless pursuit of perfection. With the MC20 Maserati per Maserati, the Trident continues to shine as a beacon of Italian ingenuity, blending tradition with the cutting-edge, in a car that is truly one of a kind.

In the words of the Maserati family, this bespoke MC20 is a reflection of “dreams come true,” carrying the legacy of Ettore Maserati into the future—ensuring that the Trident’s story will continue to inspire and amaze.
