The two-day event in Abu Dhabi was a grand celebration of Maserati’s commitment to performance, craftsmanship, and cutting-edge technology, attended by over 100 guests, including distinguished clients and members of the international and GCC media.
A Spectacular Venue for an Iconic Debut
The luxurious W Hotel Abu Dhabi served as the perfect host for guests, offering breathtaking trackside views that amplified the motorsport excitement. The meticulously curated program included an array of immersive track experiences and exclusive behind-the-scenes activations, showcasing Maserati’s Fuoriserie personalization program, an interactive configurator station, and a special Folgore display featuring the brand’s Formula E race car, set to compete in Season 11.
The GT2 Stradale: A Road-Legal Race Car Like No Other
The highlight of the event was the global debut of the GT2 Stradale, a road-legal evolution of the GT2 race car that dominated the 2024 Fanatec GT2 European Series Championship. Securing 16 pole positions, 12 victories, seven second-place finishes, and five third-place finishes, the GT2 proved its supremacy by clinching both the drivers’ and teams’ titles in the Am class.
This limited-edition masterpiece, restricted to 914 units in homage to Maserati’s founding year, is powered by the ferocious 640 CV Nettuno V6 engine, propelling it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and achieving a blistering top speed of 324 km/h. The GT2 Stradale comes equipped with CORSA DRIVE MODE, delivering an unparalleled track-level driving experience.
Adrenaline on the Track and Beyond
Attendees were treated to high-octane hot laps in the GT2 Stradale with a professional driver at the helm, providing an immersive taste of its capabilities. Additionally, Maserati showcased its broader lineup, including the Grecale, which was available for exclusive on-road test drives through Abu Dhabi’s city streets, demonstrating its remarkable balance of power and versatility.
Guests were also captivated by the stunning GranTurismo and Grecale Folgore, GranCabrio Trofeo, and MC20, while test-driving opportunities for the GranTurismo Trofeo and GranTurismo Modena further heightened the excitement. The Trofeo, boasting 550 hp from its twin-turbo Nettuno V6, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 320 km/h, while the Modena, delivering 490 hp, reaches 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and tops out at 302 km/h.
