Las Vegas, NV – January 3, 2025
Maserati has once again proven its commitment to technological excellence and innovation with its stellar presence at CES 2025. Partnering with Politecnico di Milano, the Italian Association of the Automotive Industry (ANFIA), and Sonus faber, Maserati is set to captivate attendees with a showcase of the MC20 Cielo, MC20 Coupe, and Grecale SUVs, pushing the boundaries of automotive technology and design.
The AI-Powered MC20 Cielo: A Glimpse into the Future
At the heart of Maserati’s exhibit is the MC20 Cielo, a groundbreaking super sports car that features an AI driver as part of the Artificial Intelligence Driving Autonomous (AIDA) project. Developed by Politecnico di Milano and the National Center for Sustainable Mobility (MOST), AIDA aims to validate autonomous driving under real-world conditions, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
This collaboration follows the remarkable success of the AI-driven MC20 Coupe, which shattered records in November 2024 by achieving an autonomous speed of 285 km/h (177 mph) in dense fog at Italy’s Piacenza-San Damiano Air Base. The coupe will serve as the official Safety Car at the Autonomous Challenge at CES 2025, held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on January 9. Meanwhile, its successor, the MC20 Cielo, will be prominently displayed in the Italian Trade Agency’s booth, highlighting Italy’s innovative contributions to connected and autonomous mobility.
Exceptional Audio Meets Italian Luxury
Joining Maserati at CES 2025 is its long-standing audio partner, Sonus faber, which will showcase its latest advancements in sound technology at the T-Mobile Arena on January 7–8. Visitors will experience exclusive test drives in the Grecale Trofeo and the fully electric Grecale Folgore, both equipped with Sonus faber’s award-winning sound systems.
The Sonus faber High Premium Sound System in the Grecale features 21 independently driven speakers, delivering a smooth frequency response and precise sound staging. Recognized by the EISA Committee as the Best In-Car Sound System for consecutive years, this innovation exemplifies Maserati’s dedication to elevating luxury through technology.
