London, UK, 2nd September 2024 – In a fitting tribute to one of the automotive world’s most enduring icons, Maserati Club UK commemorated 60 years of the Maserati Quattroporte with a spectacular showcase at this year’s Salon Privé Blenheim. This celebration, aptly named the ‘Quattroparty,’ brought together almost 80 Maseratis, with 41 pristine examples of the Quattroporte spanning all six generations of the model’s storied history.

Held on the North Lawn of Blenheim Palace during the Salon Privé Supercar Saturday & Club Trophy presented by Lockton, the event drew enthusiasts from across the globe. The display featured one model from each generation of the Quattroporte, with proud owners on hand to share their passion and stories with fellow aficionados and showgoers alike.

Among the highlights of the day were the Salon Privé Club Car Trophy Parade awards, which recognized a stunning MC20 owned by Brian Goldman and an exceptionally rare Quattroporte II owned by Thierry Dehaeck. The latter, a true testament to the resilience of Maserati’s engineering, was driven from Belgium by trusted friends of the owner, further enhancing the sense of camaraderie that defined the event.

Michael Roberts, Chairman and Director of the Maserati Club UK, praised the event, highlighting the exceptional condition of the vehicles on display and the dedication of the owners. “The Maserati Club members who conceived and organised this display deserve the greatest credit,” he said. “It is splendid to have such an impressive array of Quattroportes at Salon Privé Blenheim to celebrate one of the Trident brand’s most iconic and longest-running models. The Club is grateful to everyone who came together to make it possible. As we see the brand evolving and looking to the future, it is important for us to also look back and celebrate the incredible heritage that continues to inspire us all and our passion for the brand and its extraordinary, special creations.”

The Maserati Quattroporte, launched in 1963, was a revolutionary concept in the world of luxury automobiles. Translating to “four doors” in Italian, the Quattroporte seamlessly merged the elegance of a grand tourer with the practicality of a saloon. Over the past six decades, the model has evolved through various iterations, consistently setting new benchmarks in style, performance, and luxury.

From the early models that embodied the quintessence of Italian design with their sleek lines and powerful V8 engines, to the latest versions featuring cutting-edge technology and unmatched luxury, the Quattroporte has remained a symbol of Maserati’s commitment to excellence. Even as production of the latest model ceased in 2023, the Quattroporte’s influence continues to resonate within the brand’s current lineup.

In addition to the Quattroporte celebration, Maserati’s presence at Salon Privé Blenheim was further bolstered by the unveiling of the all-new GranCabrio Trofeo, making its UK debut. Accompanying it were the GranTurismo Trofeo and GranTurismo Folgore, the latter representing Maserati’s first foray into electric vehicles and signalling the brand’s forward-looking vision while staying true to its Italian heritage.

The crown jewel of Maserati’s display was undoubtedly the MC20 Cielo, a stunning spyder supercar resplendent in Rosso Vincente. Powered by the twin-turbo three-litre V6 Nettuno engine, this Italian masterpiece captivated audiences throughout the event, embodying the perfect blend of tradition and innovation that has defined Maserati for over a century.
