Bothaville, 15 May 2024: Mahindra South Africa is drawing record numbers of visitors at this year’s Nampo Harvest Day show near Bothaville, thanks to its largest-ever exhibit.
This year, Mahindra has taken a prime spot in the center of the Grain SA exhibition grounds, showcasing an expanded display of its complete range of vehicles and agricultural equipment. A newly paved pathway, aptly named Mahindra Street, leads directly from the main gate to their impressive stand.
The significance of this extensive display is manifold for Mahindra. Not only has the group been a consistent presence at Nampo, but it has also found a loyal following among the farming community, which has embraced Mahindra’s vehicles from the very beginning.
As Mahindra has evolved from a niche brand to a significant player in the automotive industry, its presence at Nampo has grown accordingly.
This year’s large display also coincides with Mahindra’s celebration of 20 years in South Africa. Since opening its doors in 2004, Mahindra has become a popular vehicle brand, offering a comprehensive range of SUVs and bakkies.
Adding to the celebration, Mahindra’s Scorpio-N was named the 2024 Adventure SUV of the Year and the Motor Enthusiasts’ Choice for 2024 at the recent Old Mutual Insure South African Car of the Year competition.
To commemorate these achievements, Mahindra has placed a special Scorpio-N Adventure model at the entrance of its display area. This special edition enhances the Scorpio-N 4×4’s already impressive off-road capabilities with purpose-built approach and departure bumpers, special off-road tires, and a raised suspension with underbody protection.
The Scorpio-N Adventure also features a custom roof rack made from machined steel with a black powder coating, and an additional roof-mounted shelf in the luggage compartment treated with the same finish.

Visitors can also test drive the new Scorpio-N and Pik Up Karoo Dusk on the Nampo off-road track for free. Additionally, they can take advantage of exclusive finance offers available only at the show and explore Mahindra’s vehicle range in virtual reality.
