Top heritage specialists have pledged support for the London Classic Car Show, the new and contemporary event that’s ready to kick start 2015 into life.

Welcoming the first classic car show in the capital for years, leading restoration companies, dealers, motor sport specialists, classic tour operators and finance houses will all be at the ExCeL exhibition centre in Docklands from 8-11 January.

“We are delighted with the response we have had from the classic car industry,” said Event Director Bas Bungish. “Like us, the classic car market is looking forward to a definitive show in London that showcases the nation’s love and passion for classic cars.

“Leading names such as Duncan Hamilton, Don Law Racing, Hall and Hall, JD Classics, Jim Stokes, Nicholas Mee, J.M.E Healeys, Eagle E-types and Hexagon Classics have all backed our vision by signing up to the show to present and sell their collections of notable cars. A number of major manufacturers with a rich heritage, such as Maserati, Citroen and Aston Martin are also on board to help deliver this spectacular showcase.”

Created by Brand Events, the company behind Top Gear Live and CarFest, the London Classic Car Show promises to be a classic car show with a difference.

Among its innovative features is the Grand Avenue, an indoor runway along which some of the world’s rarest and most desirable cars will be driven in front of visitors.

Another innovative feature is the appointment of show curators – classic car enthusiasts with a passion for cars – who will create unique exhibits and themed collections with a personal resonance.

One curator is chef and classic car enthusiast James Martin, who is setting up the James Martin Café, providing visitors with delicious food plus a curated exhibit of themed cars.

Another is Top Gear’s James May, who will be tirelessly looking back through history to discover ‘Cars That Changed the World’.

It is this unique combination of the Grand Avenue and these carefully selected show curators that will ensure the eagerly anticipated London Classic Car Show boasts iconic, desirable and valuable collections of exceptional machinery. A number of significant exhibits and exhibitors will be added to this already amazing line-up over the coming weeks.
