On the August 7, 2012 the
competition will officially start at the Olympics. Google have selected the “London 2012 Javelin” games as part of their Google collection for the Olympics. They have already created 10 sport Doodles this Olympics. The “London 2012 Javelin” doodle is the 11th Google Doodle. For a list of 2012 Google Doodles you can visit the Car Site

In our opinion Google have selected mostly sports which are not main stream sports, which should result in these sports receiving much needed worldwide attention and exposure. It would be interesting to see what effect this massive exposure will have on these events, regarding future participation.
Our favorite Google Doodle for the London 2012 Olympics are between the London 2012 Javelin Google Doodle and the Olympics Opening Ceremony Google Doodles.
