A limited edition replica of Valentino Rossi’s ‘big eye’ helmet, worn by the Italian champion at the Mugello MotoGP round, is now available to buy in Dainese/AGV dealers priced at £499.99.
Sure to attract attention with its unusual graphics, and developed in association with legendary designer Aldo Drudi, the unique AGV helmet shows one of Rossi’s big blue eyes’, along with the colours of the Italian flag. Unusually, Rossi also used the helmet to voice a message to his fans: “watch out because sooner or later there’s going to be a change”.
The limited edition replica is an AGV model that Rossi wears on a regular basis, the GP Tech. A top-of-the-range helmet, the GP Tech was designed and developed with the help of the nine-time World Champion, as well as vital knowledge and racing experience gained by technicians at AGV. The GP Tech has taken the best features from AGV’s other race helmets, GP Pro and Ti-Tech, which results in the GP Tech being a lightweight, comfortable and extremely aerodynamic, innovatively designed helmet.
