For 2013 Leon Brand and the team at Lexus Midrand received this coveted prize, having shown a unique combination of the traditional values of customer service and technical excellence as well as out-of-the-box thinking.
Says Justin Ryan, General Manager of Lexus South Africa: “Leon has shown exceptional leadership as the Dealer Principal of Lexus Midrand and his commitment shows in the dealership’s consistent performance in 2013. This is a true personification of the Lexus motto of ‘Pursuit of Perfection’ and it makes Leon and his team true ambassadors of the Lexus brand.”
Lexus Midrand, which is part of the McCarthy Group, was singled out for its dedication to making Lexus buyers part of the Lexus family and for supporting the brand with unrelenting energy. The dealer was also awarded with the Lexus Financial Services Dealer of the Year award, for averaging a market share of 51% and a very impressive conversion rate of 77%.
Lexus South Africa also recognised Marius Claassen and the team at Lexus Helderberg for their high level of customer service. In handing over the Lexus Customer Experience Award, Ryan recognised the renewed vigour at Lexus Helderberg and applauded them for their first victory in this category.
Lexus South Africa has 17 dealers in South Africa and is currently expanding its range of service facilities to several smaller regions and towns.
