LEPAS is set to make a defining entrance onto the European stage at Milan Design Week 2026, using one of the world’s most influential design platforms to signal its premium ambitions. At the centre of this global showcase is the European debut of the LEPAS L6, a mid-size SUV that blends striking design, advanced electrification, and intelligent technology into a single, cohesive statement.
The L6 arrives as both a LEPAS Super Hybrid and a fully electric battery electric vehicle, underscoring the brand’s dual-path approach to future mobility. Built on Chery International’s all-new New Energy Vehicle modular platform, the model has been engineered to deliver a refined balance of performance, efficiency, and comfort tailored specifically for European roads. It is a strategic move that positions LEPAS as both technically capable and culturally aligned with a market that values innovation as much as aesthetic integrity.
In its Super Hybrid form, the L6 pairs a 1.5-litre engine with an electric motor and battery system to achieve a combined range of more than 700 miles, offering long-distance usability without the need for charging infrastructure reliance. Alongside it, the fully electric L6 BEV delivers a range of up to 270 miles from a 67 kWh battery, with rapid charging capability that enables a 30 to 80 percent recharge in approximately 20 minutes. Together, these configurations reflect a clear focus on real-world usability, where efficiency is matched by convenience.
Visually, the L6 embodies LEPAS’ distinctive design philosophy, drawing inspiration from the fluid power and precision of a running leopard. Sculpted body lines create a sense of motion even at a standstill, while the LED headlight signature evokes the sharp, focused gaze of its namesake. The result is a design language that feels both dynamic and deliberate, shaped by a global team intent on delivering something recognisable yet refined.
Inside, the cabin is conceived as an intelligent living space rather than a traditional cockpit. Advanced connectivity, next-generation driver assistance systems, and an emphasis on comfort and material quality come together to create an experience that mirrors the expectations of modern digital life. The integration of technology is seamless rather than intrusive, supporting the idea that sophistication lies in effortlessness.
The European debut of the L6 follows the earlier confirmation of the flagship LEPAS L8 for the UK market, further reinforcing the brand’s intention to establish a premium foothold. Both models are scheduled to arrive in the UK from Q4 2026, marking the beginning of LEPAS’ expansion into one of Europe’s most competitive automotive landscapes.
Speaking on the launch, LEPAS UK Managing Director Ray Wang highlighted the brand’s ambition to merge intelligent mobility with everyday usability, describing the L6 as a vehicle that is as intuitive as a smartphone and as comfortable as a modern home. The positioning reflects a broader philosophy embedded within the LEPAS name itself, a fusion of “Leopard” and “Passion” that signals both performance and emotional resonance.
More than a product reveal, the Milan showcase represents a statement of intent. LEPAS is not simply entering Europe with new models, but with a design-led identity that seeks to connect with a generation of drivers who view mobility as an extension of personal expression. With the L6, the brand presents a vision of driving that is efficient, intelligent, and unmistakably elegant.
