Johannesburg, 20 March 2026 – LEPAS, South Africa’s newest mobility brand, is accelerating social impact with a strategic partnership with the Black Coffee Foundation, focusing on youth empowerment, education, and community development. The collaboration was celebrated at an exclusive foundation lunch attended by LEPAS South Africa senior managers, partners, and media, showcasing a shared commitment to purpose, impact, and social contribution.
Having recently launched in South Africa, LEPAS unveiled the L4 entry model on 3 March 2026, marking its first step into the local market. The L4 is the first of several models, with the L6 and L8 expected in the coming months. But beyond launching innovative vehicles, LEPAS is focused on leaving a meaningful imprint on the communities it serves.
The partnership with the Black Coffee Foundation is designed to support and amplify the foundation’s existing initiatives, extending its reach to more young people and communities. The foundation is renowned for providing access to education, creating opportunities, and empowering youth across the country.
“South Africa is a country full of energy, ambition, and creativity. It is the perfect market for LEPAS, a brand that values intelligence, purpose, and presence. But we are not just here to launch vehicles. We want to contribute in a meaningful way to communities where we operate,” said Jay Jay Botes, GM of LEPAS South Africa.
As part of the collaboration, LEPAS is sponsoring vehicles to help the foundation deliver its programs and outreach initiatives. These vehicles will directly support education, mentorship, and essential community programs, enabling the foundation to reach more young people across the country.
“We are deeply committed to uplifting young people and communities across South Africa. Education, opportunity, and empowerment are at the heart of what we do,” said Lungile Maphumulo, CEO of the Black Coffee Foundation. “This partnership with LEPAS helps extend our reach and impact, enabling us to support more young people in practical and sustainable ways.”
“Our goal is simple. We want to enable the foundation to reach more communities, support more young people, and extend the impact of the incredible work it already does,” said Luke Cao, Country Director of LEPAS South Africa.
Through this partnership, LEPAS demonstrates that its commitment to South Africa goes beyond vehicles. Sponsoring cars and supporting the Black Coffee Foundation reflect the brand’s belief that mobility, empowerment, and opportunity can combine to create real and lasting change.
