Starting today, July 15th, Kwik Fit, the UK’s premier car servicing and repair company, will begin offering motor insurance directly through its website. This marks a significant expansion for the Kwik Fit brand, which re-entered the UK motor insurance market last year through price comparison sites. The success and positive customer feedback from these initial offerings have now led to a broader rollout, enabling customers to obtain quotes and purchase coverage directly from Kwik-Fit.com.
The new motor insurance policies feature a range of protections, including coverage for misfuelling and for lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged keys. Policyholders can also rest easy knowing their no-claims discount is protected in cases of accidents with uninsured drivers (provided details of the other vehicle and driver are obtained), deliberate damage, vandalism, or windscreen repairs and replacements when using an approved repairer. Additionally, short European trips (up to three days) are included as standard, with options to extend coverage for longer visits.
Customers can further tailor their policies with optional add-ons, such as three levels of breakdown cover, legal expenses, and enhanced courtesy car cover.
This insurance initiative is in partnership with Aioi Nissay Dowa Europe (AND-E), a subsidiary of MS&AD, one of Asia’s largest insurers. AND-E’s UK-based subsidiary, Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance UK Ltd, will underwrite and administer the policies, ensuring robust and reliable service.
