Kumho Tire is set to make a significant impact at The Tire Cologne 2024 (TTC), taking place from June 4th to 6th. Renowned as the largest event of its kind, TTC gathers leading tyre manufacturers from around the globe. This year, Kumho Tire will present its latest products under the theme “Passion in Innovation and Progress,” reflecting its commitment to delivering top-tier driving performance through advanced technology.
Kumho Tire’s display will emphasize its technological expertise, particularly through its range of ultra-high-performance tyres, which are designed to provide outstanding stability and driving experience even in the most demanding conditions. Highlighting their innovation, Kumho will introduce new summer tyres from its ECSTA SPORT S and ECSTA SPORT lineups, along with the WinterCRAFT WP52 EV, a winter tyre tailored for electric vehicles. These ultra-high-performance sport tyres are engineered to deliver exceptional driving performance for high-powered, high-performance vehicles.
The development of these models, carried out over four years from 2021 to 2024 by the Kumho Europe Technical Center (KETC), aimed at validating their ultra-high sport performance, enhancing energy efficiency, and extending mileage. The WinterCRAFT WP52 EV is an upgraded version of the WinterCRAFT WP52, specifically designed to meet the needs of electric vehicles.
In addition to these new releases, Kumho will showcase key products such as the ECSTA HS52, SOLUS HA32, and WinterCRAFT WP72, alongside future-oriented concept tyres like airborne tyres. The exhibition will also serve as a platform for Kumho to engage with major customers in Europe, hold business meetings to attract new clientele, and outline its strategic direction, reinforcing its commitment to customer engagement and business expansion.

Over the past five years, Kumho Tire has achieved an impressive annual revenue growth of over 20% on average in Europe, with a remarkable 44% year-on-year growth last year. This success is attributed to Kumho’s focused research and development strategy tailored to the European market. Recently, Kumho received high marks in tyre performance tests conducted by prestigious German auto magazines ADAC Motorwelt and Auto Bild, underscoring its world-class technological capabilities.
