Škoda Auto has offered a first look at its upcoming flagship electric SUV, the all-new Peaq, by releasing a series of exterior design sketches ahead of the vehicle’s global debut later this month.
The new seven-seater electric SUV is set to become the brand’s flagship EV and represents the latest evolution of Škoda’s Modern Solid design language. According to the Czech automaker, the Peaq combines clean surfaces, balanced proportions and distinctive styling elements to create a confident and contemporary presence on the road.
The sketches reveal a vehicle characterised by sharply defined surfaces and precise lines, giving the large SUV a strong visual identity. At the front, the Peaq features slender T-shaped headlights paired with Škoda’s gloss-black Tech-Deck Face. A connecting element between the lighting units creates a distinctive loop motif that frames the front fascia and establishes a recognisable design signature for the model.
Adding further character is a volcano-shaped front bumper with a pronounced lower contour and a strong horizontal line that emphasises the vehicle’s width. Together, these elements contribute to a bold appearance while maintaining the clean aesthetic central to the Modern Solid philosophy.
Karl Neuhold, Head of Exterior Design at Škoda Auto, said the company focused on creating a design that balances simplicity with a strong visual identity.
“In designing the exterior of the Škoda Peaq, we consistently applied the Modern Solid design language, combining clean lines, balanced proportions and distinctive elements. Precisely sculpted surfaces and clearly structured details create a confident, timeless presence, while signature features such as the T-shaped headlights and Tech-Deck Face express Škoda’s identity in a new electric era,” he explained.
Viewed from the side, the Peaq adopts a commanding stance thanks to a prominent shoulder line and wide D-pillars. The SUV’s structured body surfaces reinforce its robust proportions, while flush door handles integrated into the bodywork contribute to both aerodynamic efficiency and a cleaner overall appearance.
At the rear, the design mirrors the front-end treatment. T-shaped tail-lights are connected by a central element that recreates the loop motif, helping establish a cohesive design language across the vehicle. This distinctive lighting signature is intended to make the Peaq instantly recognisable, whether viewed from the front or rear.
The Peaq is expected to play a significant role in Škoda’s expanding electric vehicle portfolio as the company continues its transition toward electrification. While technical specifications have yet to be revealed, the model’s positioning as a large seven-seat SUV suggests it will target families and customers seeking a spacious, fully electric alternative in the growing SUV segment.
Škoda will unveil the all-new Peaq during its world premiere in Monnetier-Mornex, France, at 18:25 on 23 June 2026, when further details about the flagship electric SUV are expected to be announced.
