Kingsley Re-Engineered (Kingsley), renowned for its bespoke Range Rover Classics and iconic Land Rover builds, proudly announces its transition to new group ownership and management. Entering its second decade, Kingsley finds itself under the stewardship of a new custodian, one deeply committed to preserving and enhancing the legacy of classic Range Rovers and the iconic Land Rover brand.
With this new leadership, Kingsley is set to elevate the Range Rover Classic to unprecedented heights. A substantial investment program is in place to refine the product offerings, enhance the customer journey, and expand the bespoke specifications available. This revitalization, already underway, includes a complete rebranding and the exciting introduction of a new classic Land Rover Defender and Series product line, scheduled for release later this summer.
John Sawbridge, Managing Director of Kingsley Re-Engineered, stated, “Kingsley has set the benchmark for Range Rover Classic restorations since its founding in 2001. While many specialists have attempted to replicate our bespoke build processes, none can match the quality Kingsley delivers. Our mission is to uphold and build upon the legacy of exceptional craftsmanship that Kingsley is known for. With our new investment, we will significantly enhance our product offerings and the level of service our discerning clients expect.”

“The next era of Kingsley is characterized by independent thinking, strategic clarity, precision, and world-class OEM input. Our dedicated employees, the heart of Kingsley, are fully committed to driving the company forward. This is Kingsley for a new age, and we eagerly anticipate showcasing our latest innovations.”
Since its inception in 2001, Kingsley has restored, rebuilt, and maintained over 500 classic Range Rovers and iconic Land Rovers, establishing itself as a true leader and specialist in the field. The company has addressed various Achilles’ heels of the Range Rover Classic, offering rust prevention, new engine and gearbox combinations, and utilizing its state-of-the-art in-house paint booth for bespoke color specifications. These efforts resurrect and rebuild Range Rover Classics for the modern day. The new ownership structure aims to merge Kingsley’s bespoke craftsmanship with a world-class standard, ensuring unmatched quality, customization, and functionality.
Kingsley Cars LTD, a UK-based limited company, began its ownership transition in February 2024. This includes new appointments to the Board and management team and the departure of the previous leadership. All current and future builds will continue to be meticulously hand-crafted at the company’s Oxfordshire headquarters. Contact information remains unchanged.
