Kia UK has taken a bold step forward in redefining vehicle insurance and aftercare with the launch of its new partnership with Wrisk Transfer Limited (Wrisk). The collaboration introduces a fully online, subscription-based car insurance and enhanced accident aftercare service, offering Kia customers unparalleled flexibility, transparency, and peace of mind.

Subscription-Based Insurance for Maximum Flexibility

The new Kia Car Insurance utilises Wrisk’s intelligent digital insurance platform, giving drivers a monthly rolling subscription without penalties or transaction fees. Customers can set up their policy in minutes, manage documents online, and enjoy the security of a 12-month price guarantee, provided no changes are made. The system is designed to put control firmly in the hands of the driver, with no charges for amendments, renewals, or cancellations, and expert support readily available from Wrisk’s dedicated customer service team.

This modern approach to insurance complements Kia’s growing electrified vehicle lineup and reflects the brand’s commitment to customer-centric, digitally-enabled services. Available across new and used Kia passenger cars, including the PV5 Passenger, the subscription model ensures that drivers can enjoy tailored insurance coverage with simplicity and convenience.

Simplified Driveaway Insurance

Kia has also streamlined its Driveaway Insurance, providing up to five days of complimentary cover for qualifying customers. The new system allows drivers to register in minutes, getting on the road quickly and legally, without unnecessary delays. Wrisk’s professional support ensures that every customer experiences a smooth, reassuring start to their journey in a new or used Kia.

Enhanced Accident Aftercare for Peace of Mind

Accidents can be stressful, but Kia’s enhanced Accident Aftercare programme is designed to make the repair process as straightforward as possible. Repairs are directed back to the customer’s selling Dealer and associated Kia Approved Bodyshop wherever possible, ensuring continuity of care from teams familiar with the vehicle. By prioritising convenience and expert service, Kia ensures that customers can rely on consistent, trusted support during what can often be a challenging time.

Chris Lear, Aftersales Director at Kia UK, commented: “We are excited to launch our new partnership with Wrisk, which signals a significant step forward in how we support our customers throughout their vehicle ownership. By offering a flexible, transparent and fully digital subscription insurance experience, we are helping Kia drivers enjoy peace of mind and exceptional service at every stage.”

Robert Cottrell, VP Commercial at Wrisk, added: “We’re very proud to have been appointed by Kia UK to deliver their new branded insurance programme. Working intensively with the Kia team has been an absolute pleasure as we both share the same vision of bringing the highest standards of digitally-delivered insurance to customers of Kia.”

The partnership between Kia UK and Wrisk represents a major shift in automotive insurance and aftercare, combining convenience, transparency, and expert support to deliver a truly customer-focused experience. Kia drivers can now enjoy the reassurance of tailored coverage, simplified processes, and dedicated aftercare every step of the way.
