One smart interface. Five legacy apps. Unlimited convenience.
Kia Europe has officially launched its all-new Kia App, a next-generation digital platform that unifies five of the brand’s existing applications into a single, intelligent ecosystem. Designed to redefine the ownership experience, the rollout began across Europe in May, with the UK now among the first markets to gain access to the app. The move is a bold step forward in Kia’s mission to streamline the way customers interact with their vehicles—digitally, efficiently, and intuitively.
The new app merges Kia Connect, Kia Charge, MyKia, the Kia Warranty Book, and Kia Owner’s Manual into one seamlessly integrated solution. Its user-focused interface and extensive functionality have already earned recognition on the global stage, winning the 2025 iF Design Award for Mobile Application UI Design.
“The new Kia App is more than just a digital tool; it is a gateway to a seamless and intelligent mobility experience,” said Marc Hedrich, President and CEO of Kia Europe. “By merging multiple services into one powerful app, we are making everyday interactions with Kia vehicles smarter, more efficient, and fully connected to our customers’ lifestyles.”

One App. Total Control.
At its core, the Kia App aims to make vehicle ownership more intelligent and frictionless. With one login, users gain access to a full suite of features that enhance every aspect of driving, charging, and maintenance. Key functions include:
- Remote Vehicle Control: Start the engine, pre-condition the cabin, lock or unlock the doors, control windows, activate lights and horn, and check battery status—directly from your smartphone. Certain features are exclusive to Kia’s electrified models.
- Navigation & Driving Insights: Plan routes, including EV-friendly charging stops, and send directions straight to the in-car navigation system. A connected driving safety score encourages efficient, sustainable motoring.
- Charging Management: Access over 960,000 charging points in 27 European countries via the app’s integration with Kia Charge. Users can filter locations, start and stop charging remotely, manage tariffs, and review charging history.
- Maintenance & Service: Book service appointments, review digital service history, and access important documents like the owner’s manual and warranty booklet—all from within the app.
Future-Ready, User-Centric
The Kia App is engineered with real-world usability in mind. Existing users of any of the five previous Kia apps can simply log in with their current credentials, and all preferences, data, and settings will automatically migrate to the new platform.
The app also supports shared usage, allowing co-drivers or family members to enjoy the benefits under a single account—ideal for multi-driver households.
Importantly, all customer data is securely hosted in Europe, ensuring compliance with regional data protection standards while reinforcing Kia’s commitment to customer privacy.
Built for What’s Next
Looking ahead, Kia plans to broaden the app’s functionality to support business customers and fleet operators, particularly with the launch of its upcoming Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) line-up, including the PV5. The app will also integrate future services like Kia Drive, a flexible mobility solution now in development.
As the standalone Kia Connect, Kia Charge, MyKia, Kia Warranty Book, and Kia Owner’s Manual apps are phased out, Kia is encouraging all customers to switch to the Kia App by downloading it from the App Store or Google Play.
With the Kia App now live in the UK and available across Europe, the brand continues to drive forward with its vision for a more connected, customer-centric future—one app at a time.
