Kia is accelerating its GT legacy into the electric era with the unveiling of three new high-performance models at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show: the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT. These latest additions bring Kia’s celebrated GT philosophy—dynamic driving, emotional engagement, and sporty character—into the compact SUV, Hatchback, Fastback, and C-SUV segments.
Building on a decade of GT heritage, the new electric trio pairs advanced hardware with intelligent, software-driven features, creating vehicles that are as thrilling to drive as they are technologically sophisticated. GT-exclusive drive modes, electronically controlled suspensions, personalised digital interfaces, performance-themed soundscapes, and Kia Upgrades all combine to deliver an experience that balances performance, everyday usability, and emotional connection.
“Our new electric Kia GT models prove that electrification can be emotional and resolute,” said Soohang Chang, President and CEO of Kia Europe. “The EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT deliver an engaging, confidence-inspiring drive, combining the instant responsiveness of electric power with sporty character and all-purpose capability. These GTs are crafted for those who seek excitement while embracing a future of responsible mobility.”
Shared GT DNA: EV3 GT and EV4 GT
The EV3 GT and EV4 GT share a common technical foundation, translating Kia’s GT philosophy into three distinctive body styles: a compact SUV, a sporty Hatchback, and a sleek Fastback. Both feature a 215kW dual-motor AWD system, an 81.4kWh battery, electronically controlled suspension with GT-specific tuning, improved cornering stability, and 20-inch performance-oriented alloy wheels.
A dedicated GT drive mode synchronises power delivery, steering response, suspension, and vehicle displays for a focused and immersive driving experience. Virtual Gear Shift (VGS) provides tactile feedback during acceleration and deceleration, while active sound design dynamically adapts to speed and load, creating a progressive digital soundtrack that amplifies excitement.
EV3 GT: Compact, Confident Performance
The EV3 GT introduces GT excitement to the compact SUV segment. Its upright stance and versatile packaging combine with GT-specific chassis tuning to deliver stability, control, and confidence on the road. Inside, semi-bucket seats inspired by the EV9 GT, neon accents, and ambient lighting linked to drive modes reinforce its sporty character while keeping the model accessible as an entry point into Kia’s GT electric range.
EV4 GT: Sporty Hatchback and Fastback
The EV4 GT elevates the Hatchback and Fastback experience, offering agility and precision for drivers who favour dynamic performance over conventional SUVs. GT-tuned suspension, dual-motor AWD, and performance tyres enhance road feel, while a GT-specific interior, including semi-bucket sport seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, and drive mode-linked interface, ensures every journey is focused and engaging.
EV5 GT: Performance Meets Versatility
Expanding GT performance into the C-SUV segment, the EV5 GT features a 225kW dual-motor AWD system, electronically controlled suspension with road preview, and sporty tyres for a confident, responsive drive. GT-exclusive exterior details, semi-bucket seats, and ambient lighting linked to drive modes deliver a performance-focused SUV designed for both spirited driving and everyday practicality.
A Legacy of Driving Excitement
Kia’s GT badge has long represented balanced, expressive performance. From the Ceed GT in 2013 to the Stinger GT, and more recently the EV6 GT and EV9 GT, Kia has consistently shown how emotional driving can harmonise with usability. The new EV3, EV4, and EV5 GT models continue this evolution, proving that electrification can enhance—not dilute—the thrill of the GT experience.
Production of the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT is scheduled to begin in Q2 2026, marking the next chapter in Kia’s electric GT journey.
