Budapest, 26 February 2025 – In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Porsche 912, KAMManufaktur has unveiled its most collectable model yet—the KAMM 912c full carbon 60th Edition. A homage to the revered lightweight sports car, this special edition boasts unique heritage-inspired paintwork, bespoke decals, and meticulously crafted interior details that celebrate the 912’s significant contributions to motorsport history.

“The 912 has always been my passion,” says KAMManufaktur founder Miki Kázmér. “Being able to create a model that celebrates 60 years since this iconic sports car made its debut is a very special moment for KAMM. Our anniversary 912c is a unique car, celebrating the incredible character of the 912 and its illustrious place in automotive history.”

A Lightweight Legacy Reimagined

First introduced at the 1965 New York Auto Show, the Porsche 912 was conceived as a more accessible alternative to the newly introduced 911, offering enthusiasts a balance of performance, affordability, and exceptional handling. Though initially overshadowed by its six-cylinder sibling, the 912 has since earned its place among collectors and driving purists alike.

The KAMM 912c takes this heritage to new heights, preserving the essence of the original while infusing it with state-of-the-art engineering. Crafted in Budapest by a team of automotive specialists with experience at Singer, Koenigsegg, and Porsche Motorsport, the KAMM 912c is built using a classic 912 donor car, ensuring authenticity. Thanks to its extensive use of carbon fibre, the 912c weighs between just 699-750kg in road-going specification, making it one of the lightest sports cars of its kind.

A Tribute to Motorsport Excellence

While the Porsche 911 was already carving its name in motorsport by the late 1960s, the 912 also proved its mettle in competition. In 1967, Polish driver Sobieslaw Zasada piloted a 912 to overall victory in the European Rally Championship for Group 1 touring cars, demonstrating its remarkable agility and reliability on the rally stage. That very car serves as the inspiration behind the KAMM 912c 60th Edition’s striking Poland Red livery.

For those seeking an alternative nod to history, the Bahama Yellow paint option pays tribute to the 912s that successfully competed in Swedish rallies in 1967. That same year, three 912s participated in Swedish rally events, while another took on the challenging Gulf London Rally, cementing the model’s place in motorsport history.

Bespoke Craftsmanship and Modern Refinement

The KAMM 912c 60th Edition is designed to be a driver-focused, fully analogue machine, capturing the raw excitement of the original air-cooled four-cylinder engine. Built upon the renowned Type 616/16 1.6-litre powerplant, this re-engineered version stays true to its roots while benefiting from KAMM’s extensive expertise in performance enhancements.

Each 912c 60th Edition will be fully tailored to its owner’s preferences, with options to optimise the car for road or track use. Available features include adjustable gearbox ratios, race-spec seats, regulated safety equipment, and engine tuning configurations. Additionally, the cabin is equipped with a suite of premium options, including a Bluetooth audio system, air conditioning, a cabin heater, and wireless phone charging.

A Collector’s Dream

With only one example of each 60th Edition model being produced, exclusivity is guaranteed. Owners will receive a one-on-one design consultation with KAMM founder Miki Kázmér in Budapest to personalise their car. Alongside their vehicle, buyers will be presented with a bespoke 60th-anniversary racing helmet and a curated selection of exclusive anniversary memorabilia, including limited-edition clothing, custom KAMM artwork, and a carbon fibre scale model of the car.

“I firmly believe that modernity should be subtly included in order to enhance the driving experience, but that authenticity should be guaranteed,” says Kázmér. “That authenticity is what drives us at KAMM, and it’s why we have extensively re-engineered every single part of the 912 to create a sports car suitable for the demands of the modern driver.”

By honouring the past while embracing the future, KAMM has crafted a truly special tribute to the Porsche 912’s rich legacy. More than just a collector’s item, the 912c 60th Edition is a celebration of driving purity, precision engineering, and the enduring spirit of an automotive icon.

The KAMM 912c 60th Edition is available to order now, priced at €395,000.
