Classical Jazz at Mahindra’s stand at the 2013 Johannesburg International Motor Show
Acclaimed classical jazz group Con Grazia will be performing at the Mahindra stand at the Johannesburg International Motor Show each weekend for the show’s duration.
The group, which consists of three sisters from Pretoria, will play violin and saxophone on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 11 am and 3 pm.
“We love all types of music,” says saxophonist Sharon Lotter and we might well mix it up a little, depending on the crowd. Her sister Syntiche Claassen, who plays violin said she and her sisters have been playing since the age of three. They are soon issuing a CD of contemporary classic music and a DVD that was shot in the Wilderness, Eastern Cape.
“Our mother, Priscilla was our teacher and remains our biggest fan.”
