CAPE TOWN, 25 October 2025 — The spirit of adventure found a new home at the Grand Parade tonight as Jetour officially launched its much-anticipated T-Series SUV range in South Africa. The event marked a milestone for the rapidly growing brand, introducing the Jetour T1 and T2 models to an audience of media, partners, and automotive enthusiasts under the glittering lights of Cape Town’s iconic skyline.
The launch wasn’t just a showcase of vehicles—it was a statement. Jetour’s new T-Series represents a lifestyle built around capability, style, and the promise of discovery. With the T1 and T2 now poised to arrive at over 55 dealerships across Southern Africa from mid-November, Jetour is ready to redefine what South Africans expect from their SUVs.
A Celebration of Progress and Partnership
The evening’s proceedings featured keynote addresses from industry and government leaders, including Jetour International’s President, Ke Chuandeng; Cape Town Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, Alderman James Vos; and DIRCO Deputy Director General, Clayton Monyela. Jetour South Africa’s Vice President, Nic Campbell, guided guests through the highlights of each model, while Managing Director Luo Yuanran unveiled the official pricing for the new range.
“Since Jetour first entered the South African market last year, there’s been incredible anticipation for the T-Series,” said Campbell. “Launching both the T1 and T2 simultaneously represents our commitment to delivering vehicles that combine affordability, luxury, and reliability—all tailored for the South African lifestyle.”
That lifestyle, he added, is one of versatility—where a vehicle must handle both urban life and untamed terrain with equal confidence.

A Brand on the Rise
The launch evening also included a celebration of Jetour’s first T-Series customers in South Africa, who received ceremonial keys and collector-scale models of their new vehicles. The brand’s partnership with the DHL Stormers was also spotlighted through a signing event and gift exchange, marking Jetour’s role as the team’s official vehicle sponsor for the next three years.
Adding to the prestige, Jetour announced that 70 T-Series vehicles will be used as official transport at the upcoming G20 Summit in Johannesburg—a fitting role for a brand that continues to position itself at the intersection of innovation and diplomacy.
Entertainment on the night came courtesy of electronic trio GoodLuck, trumpeter Mo-T, and DJ Vin Deyzel, capping off a vibrant and unforgettable evening.
Accelerating Success in South Africa
Since entering the local market in 2024 with the Jetour Dashing and X70 Plus, Jetour has quickly established itself as a formidable new player in the South African automotive landscape. Within just one year, the brand achieved 12th place in national passenger car sales and earned Gold Status in the 2025 NADA Dealer Satisfaction Index—testament to its commitment to dealer support, customer service, and accessible premium mobility.
With the T-Series now officially on South African soil, Jetour’s momentum shows no sign of slowing. These new models don’t just expand the brand’s portfolio—they strengthen its promise: to take South Africans further, in comfort, style, and confidence.
