The Jetour Dashing, a dynamic five-seater SUV introduced to South Africa last year, has quickly captured the attention of local buyers with its bold styling, premium finishes, and accessible pricing. Balancing luxury with practicality, the Dashing has gained significant traction in the market, with 437 units sold in July alone. This performance helped Jetour secure 15th place overall in sales and 12th in the passenger-vehicle segment.
As one of the brand’s two launch models in September 2024—and with two more arrivals set for the coming months—Jetour continues to make premium SUV ownership more attainable for South Africans.
Priced competitively, the Momentum variant starts at R439,900, while the Deluxe trim is offered at R469,900. Both models feature a contemporary design available in seven colours, including Onyx Black, Crimson Red, Glacier White, Arctic Blue, Ash Grey, Forest Green, and Slate Grey.

The Dashing’s exterior highlights include split-type LED headlights and a coupe-inspired silhouette. Inside, a minimalist yet modern cabin houses an intuitive infotainment system for effortless connectivity. Under the bonnet, a 1.5-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine delivers 115 kW and 230 Nm of torque through a smooth 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Technology plays a central role, with standard features such as voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, and remote engine start. Safety is equally comprehensive, with ABS, EBD, electronic stability programme, traction control, hill-hold and hill-descent control, ISOFIX mounts, tyre pressure monitoring, and four airbags as standard. The Deluxe enhances safety and comfort with side-curtain airbags, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, 360-degree parking assist, and advanced driver-assistance systems.
Jetour further strengthens customer confidence with standout after-sales support, offering a 10-year/1-million km engine warranty, a 5-year/150 000 km vehicle warranty, and a 5-year/60 000 km service plan. Its fully stocked parts warehouse in Midrand, together with more than 50 dealers nationwide, ensures reliable support across South Africa.
With easing inflation, interest rate cuts, and growing consumer demand for vehicles that combine value with features, Jetour’s upward trajectory in South Africa looks set to accelerate even further.
