Johannesburg, South Africa – The thrill of the trail comes alive this April as Jeep® South Africa hosts the country’s first-ever Easter Jeep Safari from 3 to 6 April 2026 at the Gariep Forever Resort. In collaboration with Jeep Club South Africa, the four-day event promises an immersive off-road adventure where vehicles and owners alike are tested, celebrated, and connected.
Designed for those who carry adventure in their DNA, the Easter Jeep Safari offers guided trail drives through rugged terrain, community competitions that ignite friendly rivalries, and vehicle build showcases that display the creativity and dedication of Jeep enthusiasts. When the sun sets, the action moves to relaxed social gatherings around campfires, with the aroma of braais wafting through the air, conversations flowing, and plans for the next day’s drive already underway.

“Jeep South Africa is fortunate to have such a strong and engaged customer base through its club community,” says Janus Janse van Rensburg, Head of Marketing and Sales for Jeep South Africa at Stellantis. “The stalwarts behind the club organise monthly events and excursions, and now they’re taking things up a notch with the first Easter Jeep Safari in South Africa. It’s incredibly exciting to partner on something like this and spend time with the passionate people who make this Jeep brand what it is.”
For Jeep owners, the event is about far more than vehicles – it’s a celebration of shared passion and camaraderie. “The Easter Jeep Safari isn’t only about driving trails, but also the friendships, stories and shared passion that make the Jeep community so special,” says Anne-Marie Engelbrecht, President of Jeep Club South Africa. This sense of community mirrors the global Jeep brand story, where the original Easter Jeep Safari has become one of the most recognised gatherings in the international Jeep calendar, drawing thousands of enthusiasts to the desert trails of the United States every year.
The South African edition brings that tradition closer to home, with expansive landscapes offering both off-road challenges and picture-perfect moments. Jeep drivers can test their vehicles in the conditions they were built for, sharpen their off-road skills, and forge connections that transform the club from a group of owners into a true Jeep family.
In a further nod to the local community, Jeep South Africa will cover Jeep Club South Africa membership fees for all customers who purchase a new Jeep from an authorised dealer in 2026, strengthening the bonds of the community and welcoming new members into the fold.
