An audacious expression of modern luxury, Jaguar’s latest design vision turns heads in Monte Carlo during Formula E’s most prestigious weekend.
Monaco – 2 May 2025: Set against the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean and the electric energy of Formula E’s crown jewel event, the Jaguar Type 00 has officially arrived in Monaco – and it did so with characteristic drama. Poised on a bespoke floating ocean terrace, this bold design study captivated onlookers with a confident display of Jaguar’s evolving vision for the future of luxury performance vehicles.
Following its high-profile European debut at Paris Fashion Week – where its unexpected street appearance turned heads and dominated social feeds – the Type 00 now makes its mark on the Riviera. From the stylish boulevards of Paris to the sun-drenched glamour of Monte Carlo, Jaguar’s latest concept continues to redefine what it means to be seen.
Presented in a striking French Ultramarine finish, a bespoke hue created in-house by Jaguar’s design team, Type 00 exudes modern sophistication. The unique paint features a proprietary pigment with embedded metallic elements and a satin-like sheen, ensuring the vehicle catches light – and attention – from every angle.
“Following Type 00’s European debut at Paris Fashion Week, we’re excited to bring the brand to Monaco, the ideal backdrop to showcase Jaguar’s vision for the future of automotive luxury,” said Rawdon Glover, Managing Director of Jaguar.
Invited guests were treated to an exclusive preview of the car, which was positioned dramatically above the sea, symbolising Jaguar’s elevated direction. As fans, celebrities, and racing royalty poured into the Principality for the Formula E weekend, the Type 00 stood as a symbol of transformation – not only for the brand but for the broader luxury mobility landscape.
The Monaco presentation is more than a static display – it’s a declaration. A statement that Jaguar is boldly entering its next chapter. The Type 00, which first stunned the world during its global reveal at Miami Art Week in December 2024, is not merely a concept. It is a manifesto – a reminder that the marque born from the daring spirit of Sir William Lyons still dares to “Copy Nothing.”

From its sweeping, exuberant proportions to its sculptural, almost architectural surfaces, the Type 00 embodies the next generation of Jaguar design language. It hints at a portfolio to come, one that will push boundaries and reclaim Jaguar’s position at the forefront of progressive luxury.
With appearances alongside global icons like Barry Keoghan, Jamie Dornan, and Zoë Saldaña in Paris, the Type 00 has already captured the imagination of a style-savvy audience. Now, in Monaco, it seizes the spotlight once more – not on a red carpet, but on water, where its reflection meets the future Jaguar envisions.
As the world turns its gaze to Monte Carlo this weekend, Jaguar’s bold statement floats effortlessly above the waves – signalling that the journey into the extraordinary has only just begun.
