The J7 SHS was named Best SUV PHEV 2025 in Thailand, while in Malaysia the standard J7 claimed both the Car of the Year People’s Choice Award and Best Mid-Range SUV. These honours highlight the model’s ability to resonate across diverse markets with differing regulatory environments, road conditions and consumer priorities, a hallmark of a genuinely global product.

For South Africa, this international momentum carries clear relevance.
