[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]8th July 2022 – Otter Vale Motors, an Isuzu dealership located in Devon, has commenced engagement in its most recent charity incentive, promoting fundraising for Head Up Charity as founder Paul Minter attempts a 5,000-mile run across the United Kingdom.
Otter Vale’s involvement in the fundraiser took place on the 131st day of Paul’s run, in which he ran over 20 miles from Exmouth to Torquay, thereby completing over 2,800 miles of his 5,000-mile challenge. The dealership supported Paul by providing an Award-Winning Isuzu D-Max support vehicle along the route, ensuring he remained safe and fully encouraged during his admirable endeavour, as well as providing Paul with water and snacks. Additionally, Otter Vale has also been using multiple social channels to provide updates regarding Paul’s journey as well as links to his fundraising page in an attempt to drive sponsorship from the general public.
Otter Vale Motors is an independent family-owned dealership specialising in Isuzu pickups and commercial vehicles, also offering a variety of services such as Part Exchanges, M.O.T’s, and Vehicle Maintenance. Located near Honiton in Devon, Otter Vale has expanded into two sites since beginning operations, owing the rapid business growth to both quality vehicles as well as fully specialised staff members, with teams of Isuzu Pick-up Professionals and technicians located on-site.
Head Up is a new UK charity set up by four veterans to help serving and former Forces personnel build a positive mindset and increase their mental resilience. One of the current primary goals is to raise funds to establish The Retreat – a non-militarised, luxury safe haven for military staff and veterans suffering with mental health difficulties. The charity run, which is set to be completed by founder Paul Minter, is a fundraising incentive geared towards generating money, as well as coverage, to aid in the development of the Retreat, with almost £40,000 raised already. Paul’s journey follows the coastline circumference of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Isles of Wight and Man. Aiming to finish the run in just seven months, having started on the 1st of March and set to finish on the 4th of October, Paul’s 5,000-mile journey is open to anybody who wants to join and has gained large amounts of TV and Radio news coverage.
