Now in its fifth year, this esteemed competition provides a platform for learners to enhance their general knowledge, develop cognitive skills, and engage with current affairs—key competencies in preparing them for the future.

Record-Breaking Participation and Enthusiastic Competition
The 2024 edition of The Herald ISUZU Schools Quiz saw unprecedented engagement, with 52 schools and nearly 200 learners from across Nelson Mandela Bay competing for the grand prize. This intense and exhilarating contest spanned three weeks, following an extensive seven-week preparation period. The enthusiasm surrounding the competition has continued to grow each year, fostering a spirit of academic excellence and camaraderie among participants.

How to Enter
The 2025 edition of The Herald ISUZU Schools Quiz is now open for entries, welcoming high school pupils from the Nelson Mandela Bay and Kouga municipal districts. This year’s competition boasts prize hampers valued at more than R260,000, along with R35,000 in cash prizes for the top three schools, making participation all the more rewarding.
Schools can enter manually or online via www.bit.ly/schoolquiz25. Entries can also be submitted in person at The Herald offices, located at The Atrium Centre, 24 Ring Road, Greenacres, or via email at [email protected]. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, 25 March 2025, at 12h00.
