- Terry Steeden appointed as the Communications Manager for Infiniti UK
- New role created as Infiniti continues to strengthen its locally based team
Rolle, Switzerland (24 May) – Infiniti, the luxury performance automotive brand from Japan has announced that Terry Steeden has been appointed as Communications Manager for Infiniti in the UK. This new role has been set up to further strengthen the communications of the Infiniti brand on a local level as it starts to drive towards 10% market share of the global luxury car market by 2016.
Terry joins Infiniti with several years of experience from Nissan where he held a variety of communications and marketing positions. His appointment follows the recent creation of a dedicated Fleet Sales Manager for the UK market.

He brings with him a wealth of knowledge obtained from various areas of the industry but more importantly has a good understanding of what is required to grow a business such as Infiniti and work closely with the media.”
Terry added: “Infiniti is a brand that is still relatively new in Europe but through its adventurous styling and advanced technology it is starting to make its mark against many well established luxury / performance marques” He continued; “This is an exciting time to join Infiniti as it starts to push forward with a larger network of dealers and more innovative products, such as the truly stunning Emerg-e concept. Infiniti announced recently its intention to reach a 10% share of the global luxury car market by 2016 and is already preparing the ground for growth. The company recently launched its first hybrid petrol electric vehicle and, through a partnership with Mercedes-Benz, is now engineering four cylinder diesel and petrol engines to be launched in from next year. Beyond this, there are upgrades to existing models including the recently launched revised FX and entry into a new area of the market for Infiniti: the compact luxury segment with an innovative design influenced by the recent ETHEREA concept car and based on the latest small car platform from the Daimler group. By the end of 2016, Infiniti aims to be present in nearly all major segments of the luxury car market and with powertrains tuned for European needs.
