Offenbach, 23 February 2024 – Hyundai Motor Europe has announced the new i20 N Line with an upgraded look. Featuring refreshed design elements both internally and externally, the i20 N Line aims to enhance the driving experience with its sleek and modern appearance. The sporty iteration of the i20 model is set to begin production in April.
At first glance
The new i20 N Line presents a range of exterior enhancements, boasting a captivating sporty aesthetic. These enhancements include a newly designed set of 17” alloy wheels and an updated pattern for the front radiator grille. Additionally, N Line-specific design elements such as the bumper and inserts add a distinctive flair to the vehicle’s appearance. This model offers a choice of nine body colours, including four new options: Lumen Grey Pearl, Meta Blue Pearl, Vibrant Blue Pearl, and Lucid Lime Metallic, allowing drivers to express their individual style on the road.
Stepping into the cabin, drivers will immediately notice the addition of multicolour ambient lights, creating a dynamic ambiance that complements the vehicle’s sporty character. Furthermore, to ensure optimal visibility and convenience for passengers, new LED lights have been added to map, interior, and sun visor areas, particularly useful in darker settings.
N Line character
The new i20 N Line model embodies the signature N-specific design elements meticulously crafted to elevate both the driving experience and visual appeal. These features include the iconic N Line logo adorning the radiator grille, enhancing the vehicle’s commanding presence. Inside, the cabin exudes a motorsport-inspired ambiance with interior controls and accents in striking red and metal finishes. The exclusive N Line steering wheel, complete with perforated leather and exclusive red stitching, enhances both the dynamic aesthetics and the driver’s grip. Complementing this is the specially designed gear knob, featuring luxurious leather inlays, bold red accents, and the prominent N logo, serving as a focal point in the cabin. Additionally, the non-slip aluminum-look sports pedals and contrast stitching throughout the interior subtly accentuate the high-performance design ethos of the N Line, while the sporty seats with ample neck support and side cushions deliver both control and comfort during driving.
The i-range appeal
The i20 N Line prioritizes style without compromising safety and connectivity by providing a comprehensive safety package with top-notch connectivity features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) and Lane Following Assist (LFA) for enhanced safety. Optional safety systems like Parking Assist (PA) and Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA) offer extra reassurance. The Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC) adjusts speed for safer highway driving. Similar to the standard i20 models, the latest i20 N Line variant boasts identical enhancements, including a fresh logo design, USB type-C, second-generation eCall based on the 4G network, and Over-the-Air (OTA) map updates.
